The objective of the study was to implement <strong>immediate measures<\/strong> to increase road safety at the intersection <strong>of Heroes of Polytechnic Street and Mayor Pavlos Pentaris Street<\/strong> in the Municipality of Ilioupolis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Main Actions include:<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Documentation of the existing conditions in the study area<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Data collection through field measurements (traffic volumes, turning movements, traffic composition)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Processing of measurements and conclusion of traffic load analysis<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Development of the proposed solution (new vehicle flows, recommended horizontal and vertical signage)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Documentation of conclusions and evaluation of the proposal<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Sponsor:<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Municipality of Ilioupolis<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As part of enhancing road safety within the road network of the Municipality of Ilioupolis, the implementation of appropriate measures and traffic regulations was examined for a critical intersection in the area, where road accidents occur frequently.
