ScienTra successfully completed a traffic data collection and processing project at 95 measurement locations across the cities of Nicosia, Limassol, Larnaca, and Paphos, contributing to the development of a reliable traffic database to support transport planning and the improvement of Cyprus’ transport infrastructure.
The project included extensive on-site traffic surveys using a range of data collection methods tailored to the specific requirements of each survey location.
As part of the project, the ScienTra team was responsible for:
- planning and coordinating the field surveys,
- collecting traffic data at 95 survey locations,
- processing and quality-controlling the collected data,
- analysing the results and preparing technical findings.
The systematic collection and evaluation of traffic data provide an essential basis for evidence-based transport planning, supporting improvements in road safety, traffic operations, and sustainable mobility.
Through the successful delivery of this project, ScienTra further demonstrates its experience and technical expertise in conducting complex traffic surveys and delivering reliable data that support the strategic planning of transport infrastructure projects.
