The object of the competition is the creation of the Archaeological Museum of Athens, the need for its establishment has already been formulated since 1989 in a Ministerial Decision Melina Merkouri. The construction of the Museum was to take place in the Academy Platonos in a space that has been zoned since 2002 and is about to host wealth findings from the Athenian city.
The main actions include:
- The general layout plan will include the traffic arrangement, the design of the surrounding area, the adjacent open-air parking area, and the area of supporting facilities
- The architectural drawings of the floor plans of all levels ,
- The architectural drawings of the elevations and sections,
- Photorealistic renderings – construction details
